StoryKeek respects copyright. We do not host Snapchat content permanently, but if material you own is reachable through this site you can ask us to block it and we will act.

Before you send a notice

If you are the account owner and simply want your profile off the site, you do not need a copyright notice. Set your Snapchat account to private, which stops it being public within minutes, or use the profile removal page. That route is faster than this one.

Sending a notice

Send your notice to [email protected] with the word DMCA in the subject line. To be actionable it must include all of the following:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the work you say is infringed.
• The exact URL or username on StoryKeek where the material appears, specific enough for us to find it.
• Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

What happens next

We review notices in the order they arrive and aim to respond within two working days. Where a notice is valid we block the material and add the username to a list that prevents it loading again. We may pass a copy of the notice to the person who published the content.

Counter notice

If your content was blocked and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter notice to the same address including your signature, the material and its former location, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed in error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live.

Repeat infringers and false claims

We block accounts that are the subject of repeated valid notices. Bear in mind that knowingly making a false claim of infringement can carry legal liability, so only file a notice about material you actually own or are authorised to act for.
